Aro Vento is the synergy of our unique local environment, character and atmosphere with ancient and mysterious techniques from Northern Italy’s long tradition of curing pork products.

We strive to open a market for locally produced high quality salumi where products are traceable and humane, in doing so, lure the average New Zealander away from the indifferent, mass produced sandwich filler so commonly produced here.

Aro Vento produces among other things, traditional Vicenza sopressa style salami, pancetta, capocollo and sausages.
